In early November, NPA President Nancy Pfeffer facilitated a session on freight at the annual conference of the Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations (AMPO) in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The highlight of the conference was a ride on a Segway Personal Transporter! The tour was cut short by rain, but you can view photos of the practice session, which required intense concentration.
