Team Completes Freight Research Project – December 2009

NPA was a member of a team led by Cambridge Systematics working on the National Cooperative Freight Research Program (NCFRP) Project Number 9, which investigated Institutional Arrangements in the Freight Transportation System.  NPA contributed five case studies of successful arrangements to this effort.  In December 2009 the Transportation Research Board (TRB) published this research project report, which is available at this link.  This year, NPA is collaborating with a team led by the Halcrow Group on NCFRP Project Number 11, Identification and Evaluation of Freight Demand Factors. NPA organized a peer exchange workshop for the project, which was held at the Beckman Center in Irvine.
