NPA President Speaks at Eco-Webinar – January 2010

NPA President Nancy Pfeffer spoke at a January 22 Eco-Webinar entitled “Going Green—Federal and State Eco-Credits and the Regulatory Landscape.” The webcast provided important information for business owners on how to prepare and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of environmental policies. Nancy spoke about the history of environmental regulation and policy in the U.S., as well as the outlook for future regulation in areas such as pollution control and climate protection.  She partnered with the Long Beach accountancy Holthouse, Carlin & Van Trigt, which presented information on incentive programs such as tax credits and deductions for alternative energy and LEED-certified buildings.
