NPA President Nancy Pfeffer Speaks to Caltrans Group – September 2010
NPA President Nancy Pfeffer was invited to address the Planning Division of Caltrans District 12 (Orange County) regarding goods movement. Her presentation covered basic goods movement modes and the key local and national organizations that represent each element of the supply chain. She discussed the goods movement issues facing Southern California, including projected cargo growth, environmental impacts, and limitations on infrastructure and funding. She described past and ongoing efforts to address the region’s issues with goods movement, as well as possible ways for the region to prepare for a successful and competitive future. |
