NPA President Nancy Pfeffer Presents Sustainable Communities Strategy to Planners, Air Quality Professionals – Fall 2011
The Gateway Cities Council of Governments approved a subregional Sustainable Communities Strategy (SCS) under state law SB 375 in June 2011 (see related news item below). This fall, NPA President Nancy Pfeffer presented the process and results of the SCS at two professional conferences. In September, she presented at the American Planning Association (APA) California conference in Santa Barbara. In November, she presented, along with Wendy Tao of Cambridge Systematics, at the Air & Waste Management Association’s conference titled Greenhouse Gas Strategies in a Changing Climate. |
