NPA President Nancy Pfeffer Joins Technology Advisory Board, November 2007 The California State University Long Beach Regional Technology Center Advisory Board met for the first time on November 8th. NPA President Nancy Pfeffer is a board member and Membership Committee Chair for this new venture. Its goal is to serve as a technology business incubator for the Long Beach area. It will offer mentoring, training, and connections to investor financing for technology entrepreneurs, with the goal of developing a technology region centered on Long Beach. Ms. Pfeffer’s focus will be on technologies that improve goods movement, including information technology, environmental control technology, and alternative cargo movement technology; as well as on solid waste conversion technologies and on alternative energy technologies. The CSULB RTC is an affiliate of the LA County brick-and-mortar Business Technology Center located in Altadena and will offer many of the same services. |
